Scout Permit Course - Top Rope Climbing
A two day course (16 hours), which is designed to teach specific skills in leading a group on artificial walls and towers, in a single pitch top rope climbing activity and managing up to two belay systems at once.
At the end of the course you will receive a Scout Activity permit in Top Rope climbing which will enable you to run sessions for groups within the Scout Association.
Candidates must be a member of the Scout Association.
This course is not catered, so please bring lunches for the two days, although tea and coffee will be provided throughout. You will be working outdoors from time to time, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs.
The days will run from approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Camping can be booked separately.
Full payment is required to confirm the booking, 50% of the course fee is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within one calendar month of the course start date, 100% of the course fee is forfeited.
How to book

- Then click the grey and blue button which will appear above this text.
- Click 'Checkout'
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions then click 'Next'
- On the next pages you will be asked to enter your contact details, Including your Group Name in the Address, and follow the instructions to complete your booking.
- You will receive a receipt once booking is complete, and further information closer to the date of the event.
