Scout Permit Course - Off-Road Cycling
Off-Road Cycling Permit Course (Environment 1)
A two day course (16 hours), which is designed to teach specific skills in leading a group in a Off-Road Cycling activity.
At the end of the course you will receive a Scout Activity permit in Off-Road Cycling, Environment 1. In exceptional circumstances delegates may be eligable for an Environment 2 permit.
Candidates must be a member of the Scout Association and be capable of undertaking a days cycling activity.
This course is not catered, so please bring lunches for the two days.
This course will be based outside for the majority of the time so please wear apropriate clothing.
The days will run from approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm and will involve driving to different locations to make the most of diferent environments.
For this course you will be required to provide a suitable bike for Off-Road cycling, including a hemet. It may be possible to source a bike form a local hire company but will incur and extra charge (please get in touch for this).
Camping can be booked separately.
Full payment is required to confirm the booking, 50% of the course fee is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within one calendar month of the course start date, 100% of the course fee is forfeited.
How to book

- Click 'Checkout'
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions then click 'Next'
- On the next pages you will be asked to enter your contact details, Including your Group Name in the Address, and follow the instructions to complete your booking.
- You will receive a receipt once booking is complete, and further information closer to the date of the event.
