Scout Permit Course - Abseiling

A one day course, which is designed to teach specific skills in leading a group in abseiling on artificial walls and towers.

Candidates must be a member of the Scout Association. 

*To attend this course you must hold an Artificial Top Rope permit.

At the end of the course you will receive a Scout Activity permit in artificial Top Rope abseiling which will enable you to run sessions for groups within the Scout Association. 

Please note, on completion of the course, restrictions may be imposed on your permit by the assessor. These shall be covered in the course.

This course is not catered, so please bring lunch for the days although tea and coffee will be provided throughout. You will be working outdoors from time to time, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs. 

The days will run from approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Full payment is required to confirm the booking, 50% of the course fee is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within one calendar month of the course start date, 100% of the course fee is forfeited.
