NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme - Rifles
The National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA) Youth Proficiency Scheme (YPS) Tutor's Diploma is the basic qualification for the supervision of target shooting with airguns as a Scouting Activity.
Topics that are covered within the course are; law and safety, equipment, range construction, range construction skills, sighting, session plans, scoring targets and competition plus shooting games.
This equips candidates to run have-a-go sessions in air rifle shooting and also to take young people for introduction to shooting over a longer period
This course is not catered, so please bring lunches for the two days, although tea and coffee will be provided throughout. You will be working outdoors from time to time, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs.
Attending candidates must be 21 years+
The days will run from aproximately 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Camping can be booked separately.
Full payment is required to confirm the booking, 50% of the course fee is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within one calendar month of the course start date, 100% of the course fee is forfeited.

- On the next pages you will be asked to enter your contact details, Including your Group Name in the Address, and follow the instructions to complete your booking.
- You will receive a receipt once booking is complete, and further information closer to the date of the event.
