NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme - Crossbow's

This is a two day course which is designed for people with little or no prior experience of Crossbow Shooting.

This equips candidates to run have a go sessions in Crossbow Shooting and also to take young people for introduction to Crossbow Shooting over a longer period. It is a standard qualification used by the Scout Association and is written in Scout POR.

Topics covered are law, how to select appropriate equipment, setting up a range and how to ensure safety on the range. , basic shooting skills, sighting, session plans, scoring target competitions and shooting games.

This course is not catered, so please bring lunches for the tow days, although tea and coffee shall be provided throughout. You will be working outdoors from time to time, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs.

Candidates must be age 21+

The days will run from approximately 9:00am- 5:00pm.

Camping can be booked separately.

Full payment is required to confirm the booking, 50% of the course fee is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within one calendar month of the course start date, 100% of the course fee is forfeited.
